  • Time tracking

No time tracking will take place, since I RUN FOR IRAN is not a competition to the same extent as other traditional races. Everyone is of course welcome to compete against themselves or their friends via any preferred app.


  • Bag/clothes drop-off & showers

We recommend that you come with the clothes you are going to run in. Showers will not be available. It will be possible to leave your bag on one of the tents. As the tents will be unattended we recommend bringing as little stuff as possible.


  • Energy & beverage

After the run/walk, water and energy drinks are served.

  • ​Opt-out (Cancelation)

Unfortunately, I RUN FOR IRAN will not refund the entry fee if you are prevented from 
participate in the event.


  • Can you transfer your ticket to someone else if you are prevented from attending?

It is possible to transfer your ticket if you cannot attend. Follow the instructions here.

  • I am wheelchair-bound, can I participate in the race? What does accessibility look like?

It is absolutely possible to participate in the race if you are wheelchair-bound, however, we recommend all participants to take it carefully given the road conditions. 

  • Can I bring a pushchair or running stroller?

It's just fine, I RUN FOR IRAN is for everyone. There is no extra charge.

  • Can I run/walk with my dog?

Of course you can bring your beloved dog.

  • Can you run with a flag?

Flagpoles are not permitted, but you may bring a flag to drape or attach to yourself. However, you are not permitted to run with a pole in your hand for safety reasons. If you bring a flag with a pole, you will be asked to remove the flag and the pole will be stored until after the race.

  • Parking

There is plenty of parking around Djurgården. We recommend that you are out in good time in case you need to park further away. 

  • How do I get to the event using public transport?

Take bus 69 from T-centralen or Kungsträdgården towards Djurgårdsbrunn and get off at Sjöhistoriska Muséet. 

  • Will there be food and drinks for sale?

Simpler food and drinks will be available for sale, however, the range is limited.

  • I don't run. Can I join the event and walk the distance instead?

Yes. I RUN FOR IRAN is an event for everyone. You can absolutely walk if you prefer.

The surface is asphalt (or snow), be prepared for the fact that it may be slippery given the time of year!

I RUN FOR IRAN reserves the right to cancel the race if there are reasonable reasons. In addition there is a refund obligation for I RUN FOR IRAN regarding the entry fee paid to the race. Billetto are handling all ticket sales, in case of any problems regarding purchases contact them directly. 

  • What is included in the ticket?

The ticket price also includes a starter kit, which will let you remember your efforts to draw attention to the freedom fighters in Iran.

  • GDPR

The information you provide will not be passed on to third parties.​

  • Foto / Video

The organizer will videotape and photograph during the race.

  • I’m a photographer and would love to help document the event. How can I be useful?

If you are a photographer, help us document the race and spread the voice of the Iranian freedom movement. Date: 17th Dec, Time: between 10:00 and 12:00.
